இலங்கையிலிருந்து வெளியேறி இங்கிலாந்தில் புகலிடம் கோரிய இருவரை மீண்டும் இலங்கைக்கு நாடுகடத்தினால் அது அவர்களை கொலை செய்வதற்கு சமம் என இங்கிலாந்து நீதிமன்றம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது மேலும் அவர்கள் இங்கிலாந்திலேயே தங்கவும் நீதிமன்றம் அனுமதியளித்துள்ளது இதுகுறித்து தெரிய வருவதாவது இலங்கையை சேர்ந்த அண்ணன் தங்கையான அவ்விருவரும் கடந்த 2003ம் ஆண்டு லண்டன் வந்தனர் இலங்கையில் தாங்கள் சித்திரவதைக்கும் பாலியல் வல்லுறவு கொடுமைக்கும் ஆளானதாக கூறி அகதிகளாகத் தங்களை அங்கீகரிக்க கோரி இங்கிலாந்து குடியேற்றத்துறைக்கு அவர்கள் விண்ணப்பத்திருந்தனர். ஆனால் குடியேற்றத்துறை இவ்விண்ணப்பத்தை ஏற்கவில்லை மேலும் இருவரையும் நாடு கடத்தவும் முயற்சிகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டன இதையடுத்து இருவரும் மேல் நீதிமன்றில் மனுத்தாக்கல் செய்தனர் அதில் தங்களை நாடு கடத்தினால் இருவரும் தற்கொலை செய்து கொள்வோம் எனக் கூறியிருந்தனர். இந்த மனுவை விசாரித்த நீதிபதிகள் செட்லி ஆர்டன் மோசஸ் ஆகியோர் இருவரையும் மீண்டும் இலங்கைக்கு நாடு கடத்தினால் இருவரும் தற்கொலை செய்து கொள்ளகூடும் மேலும் நாமே அவர்களை கொன்றது போலவும் ஆகிவிடும் இது ஐரோப்பிய மனிதஉரிமை மாநாட்டுப் பிரகடனத்திற்கு விரோதமானது என்று தீர்ப்பளித்துள்ளனர் மேலும் சகோதர சகோதரிகள் இங்கிலாந்திலேயே தங்கவும் அவர்கள் அனுமதி அளித்துள்ளனர் இங்கிலாந்து அரசுக்கு இந்த தீர்ப்பு பெரும் அதிர்ச்சியை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளதாக தெரிவிக்கப்படுகிறது இதுகுறித்து இங்கிலாந்து குடியேற்றத்துறை அமைச்சர் பில் ஊலஸ் கூறுகையில் இது பொது அறிவே இல்லாத தீர்ப்பு எதிர்காலத்தி;ல் இங்கிலாந்துக்கு சட்டவிரோதமாக வருவோரும் அகதிகளும் இந்த தீர்ப்பை காட்டி இங்கேயே தங்க முயற்சிக்கும் அபாயம் அதிகரித்துள்ளது இதை எதிர்த்து நாங்கள் லாட்ஸ் சபையில் மனுத்தாக்கல் செய்வோம் எனத் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

Hillary Clinton and Susan Rice of USA, David Miliband of UK, and Bernard Kouchner of France are certainly all out to save the terrorists in Sri Lanka. They are using the Tamil speaking Sri Lankan civilians detained as human shields by the terrorists as an issue to pull wool over the eyes of the public, to change USA President Barrack Obama’s policy of no leniency towards terrorists, into a mockery.
The Tamil speaking Sri Lankan civilian problem in terrorist controlled areas did not exist yesterday. It had existed right along the capture of Kilinochchi by the Sri Lankan Government Forces, with the terrorists taking with them the civilian population, as and when the territories occupied by them were captured by the Government Forces.
All that time, USA,UK and France had not come forward as great humanitarians to save the civilians. None of them came forward seeking entry into terrorist held areas to investigate how the civilians were being treated by the terrorists.
Of course they allowed their usual partners sowing trouble in developing countries-the UNCHR, Human Rights Watch, the Amnesty International, and INGOs, to do the dirty work of putting barriers against the government’s successful military operations against the terrorists. Therefore, it is evident that the appearance now of USA, France and UK trio is to make an all out effort to provide a safe passage to the terrorist leaders.
Why did not the USA,UK, France trio come in defence of the civilians when the Armed Forces of the Sri Lanka Government were using heavy military equipment, and with precise targeting avoided death and injury to the civilian population ? And why do they come now when it is the terrorist leadership that is about to be eliminated to seal the end of terrorism in Sri Lanka ? The answer is too obvious-they are trying their best to give a life line to the terrorists in Sri Lanka.
No war from those of Hannibal to George Bush had been conducted without death and damage to the civilians. The French and the USA armies had killed more civilians in Vietnam than perhaps any other nation in the world. In India and Sri Lanka alone the British had killed as much civilians as the French in Vietnam.
In the French and US bombardments and artillery fire in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq hundreds of civilians are reported killed. But where are Hillary Clinton, David Miliband, and Bernard Kouchner with the alert of danger to the civilians in those countries ? Aren’t there civilians in boarder villages of Pakistan ?
Why do they make of it an issue in Sri Lanka , a country which is on its way to eliminate “its own” group of ruthless terrorists ? Let them off the hook now, they will come back again for another thirty years of terrorism in Sri Lanka. Is that what the USA President Barrack Obama wants to happen in Sri Lanka ?
Why is the USA President Barrack Obama who made a big issue with “CHANGE- Yes We Can “ an election campaign slogan, now turning back seeking selfsame foreign policies of Bush Administration without any change ? He has even recruited a Sri Lankan terrorist friendly Ambassador from Bush Administration to be Assistant Secretary of State for Asia.
Why is USA State Department under President Barrack Obama who warned the terrorists that he would not be lenient with them, defending the terrorists in Sri Lanka ? During the American Election campaign Hillary Clinton said that she would not lump together all the terrorists, but treat each terrorist group differently from another. But Hillary Clinton should not now be carrying out her own “policies”. If she does she is only negating Barrack Obama’s promised “CHANGE”.
If the terrorists in Sri Lanka are treated differently, obstructing the Sovereign State of Sri Lanka from taking action to eliminate terrorism from its soil, by bringing in questions of violation of human rights, the President Barrack Obama is not putting into effect a progressive foreign policy as far as the developing countries are concerned.
The recent Country report of Terrorism, issued by the USA Administration makes USA President Barrack Obama’s progressive policies look a mere decorations to fool the people inside and out side. It shows that USA will never change who ever becomes the President. Its policies will be the same , “ it’s own interest first, then those of its Western allies” and to hell with others. If the President Barrack Obama is to really bring about CHANGES in America, he will have to make a radical change of the US Administration.
